Clean Cooking Initiative
About: The Clean Cooking Initiative is an 18-month project aimed at accelerating the adoption of sustainable cooking solutions in Nigeria.
Objectives
1. Develop and commercialize innovative clean cooking technologies.
2. Establish a scalable commercialization model for clean cooking products.
3. Build capacity among local stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and artisans.
4. Promote awareness and drive adoption among low-income households and other stakeholders.
Methodology
1. Commercialization: Develop innovative marketing, financing, and distribution strategies.
2. Capacity Building: Train local stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and artisans in clean cooking techniques.
3. Awareness and Adoption: Implement community engagement, education, and outreach programs.
4. Zonal and State Coordination: Establish coordination mechanisms for states and regions to adopt and adapt the framework.
5. Collaboration and Funding: Foster partnerships with stakeholders, donors, and investors to secure funding and resources.
Expected Outcomes
1. Improved health and well-being for low-income households.
2. Reduced environmental impact from polluting fuels.
3. Increased economic opportunities for local stakeholders and entrepreneurs.
4. Scalable and sustainable clean cooking solutions.
5. Enhanced state and regional capacity for clean cooking adoption.

Implementation Plan
